At PCB Bank, we’re proud to support our local communities. Our annual scholarship supports one of the most critical pillars of a healthy community: education. Launched in 2018, our scholarship has helped fuel the academic journeys of dozens of qualified applicants. They are the future, and we’re honored to help.

2024 PCB Bank Scholarship Program

We will begin accepting applications for the PCB Bank Scholarship on Monday, April 8, 2024.

Submit your application along with all the required documents, using the 'Apply Now' link. Any inquiry should be mailed to pcbss@mypcbbank.com.

Award Amount

$3,000 per student
Each winner is eligible for only one award. Awards are intended for students only. No provision is made for spouses or dependents. No substitutions allowed. The check will be issued to the student and sent by mail.

How to Apply

Download the application form and submit it along with all the required documents to pcbss@mypcbbank.com.

Supporting DocumentsTo complete your application, please be ready to submit the following supporting documents. Remember to have these documents ready prior to clicking the APPLY NOW button.
  • Parent(s)/Guardian(s) 2022 or 2023 Income Tax Return: The bank will use the submitted Form 1040 to verify adjusted gross income. 
  • Recommendation Letter: Must be completed and sent by the recommender to email pcbss@mypcbbank.com. Recommender must clearly indicate recipient’s name by titling the email "Scholarship Student [full name]"
EssaySubmit your essay along with your application in PDF form. Please prepare your essay PRIOR to starting your application process. Keep in mind that once you begin your application process, you cannot edit/save changes. Your essay will be evaluated on the relevance of your answer to the content of the question, as well as grammar and spelling. Please address BOTH questions in your essay.
  • Topic: How will this scholarship help you? Why is going to college important to you?
RequirementsYou must meet these requirements, or your application will be forfeited.
  • Must be a U.S. resident or Permanent Resident and demonstrate financial need based on the income restrictions**.
  • Must currently be a college-bound high school senior, enrolling for the upcoming academic year at either a 4-year or 2-year institution.
  • Must have minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or have earned a GED.
  • Must attend the financial literacy class and the scholarship ceremony.

Applicant must be a resident of one of the following counties:

  • California - Los Angeles County, Orange County
  • New York - Queens County
  • New Jersey - Bergen County
  • Texas - Dallas County

**The applicant must be a resident of and demonstrate financial need based on the HUD 2023 Income guidelines for the following counties:
