At PCB Bank, giving back to our community helps us move forward together toward greater dreams. Our annual scholarship supports one of the most critical pillars of a healthy community: Education. Launched in 2018, our scholarship has helped fuel the academic journeys of dozens of qualified applicants. They are the future, and we’re honored to help.

Do You Qualify?

This scholarship is open to applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • Graduating high school senior
  • Planning to enroll in a 2-or 4-year college or university in Fall 2026
  • Able to demonstrate financial need
  • Able to clearly articulate academic and career goals

2026 PCB Bank Scholarship Program

We will begin accepting applications for the PCB Bank Scholarship on Monday, April 6, 2026 and close the submission on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 5 PM (Pacific Time).

$3,000 per student
Each winner is eligible for only one award. Awards are intended for students only. No provision is made for spouses or dependents. No substitutions allowed. The check will be issued to the student and sent by mail.

Supporting DocumentsTo complete your application, please ensure you have the following supporting documents prepared before applying.
  • Parent(s)/Guardian(s) 2025 Income Tax Returns: 2024 Tax Returns are acceptable only if 2025 Tax Returns have not been filed at the time of application. The submitted Form 1040 will be used to verify adjusted gross income. Please redact the first 5-digit of the SSN on all submitted documents.
  • Recommendation Letter: Please provide Name, Position, Relationship, and Contact Information. The letter can be attached or submitted directly by the recommender via email to pcbss@mypcbbank.com. The email subject line should be titled "Scholarship Student [Full Name]" to clearly indicate the recipient.
  • Latest School Transcript for GPA verification.
  • College Acceptance Letter for verification.
  • Essay: See below for more information.
EssayPlease submit your essay along with your application. Ensure your essay is prepared PRIOR to starting your application process. Your essay will be evaluated both on the relevance of your response to the provided questions and the quality of grammar and spelling. Your essay must address ALL of the following topics.
  • In a one- to two-page essay, describe your personal background and financial circumstances, the experiences that have influenced your choice of college major, and your long-term career goals. Explain how this scholarship will support your educational journey and why you believe you are a strong candidate for this scholarship.
RequirementsYou must meet these requirements, or your application will be forfeited.
  • Must currently be a college-bound high school senior, enrolling for the upcoming academic year at either a 4-year or 2-year collage institution.
  • Must have minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or have earned a GED.
  • Must attend the financial education program and the scholarship ceremony.
  • Must demonstrate financial need based on the HUD 2025 Income guidelines**.
  • Applicants must be a resident of one of the following counties:
  • California-Los Angeles County, Orange County
  • New York - Queens County
  • New Jersey - Bergen County
  • Texas - Dallas County
  • Georgia - Gwinnett County, Dekalb County

**The applicant must be a resident of and demonstrate financial need based on the HUD 2025 Income guidelines for the following counties:
