Don’t click suspicious links or open attachments. Don’t fall for scare tactics. Scan for typos. If it looks like a scam, call it “spam.”

Stop before you click that link or respond to that text. Never text personal information. If you can’t trust it, delete it – immediately.

Don’t rely on caller ID. Never give out sensitive information. Ignore pressure tactics or any sense of urgency. Hang up, even if it sounds legit.

Be wary of texts or calls about payment apps and use them only with friends and family. Respond only to payment requests from people you know.
